totescoop6 bonus fund not won after shock winner of London Mile
The totescoop6 was not won this weekend and the bonus fund was not won either meaning that next weekend’s bet could be worth over £1 million to a single winner.
The anonymous bonus hunter who had two choices in the totescoop6 London Mile and picked Clockmaker and Tartan Trip but neither could land a blow as 25/1 shot Chapter and Verse came with a wet sail to beat stablemate Red Somerset and land a famous 1-2 for trainer Mike Murphy.
A total of £264,104 was bet into the pool this Saturday but the Scoop6 went down after the fifth leg as Chapter and Verse also knocked out the remaining six tickets. However, there were 80 winners of the place fund, each of whom pick up £660.20 for their troubles.
‘The London Mile has thrown up a few big-priced winners since it was switched to Kempton’s all-weather surface and unfortunately for last weekend’s Scoop6 winner, Chapter and Verse’s victory at 25/1 means that the bonus fund rolls over once again,’ said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.
