This is the racing club of Scoop6 legend Agnes Haddock - who picked seven straight winners to collect £688,620 for just £2. With £24,244 distributed after our pre-Christmas Scoop6 win Aggies Nags Club has nearly 50 per cent more members in Series 8 and in week three we managed another winning ticket to take returns on the day to £3,645. We had conserved our funds over the first four weeks of the series and we still have more than £4,000 in the pot for the final four weeks - plus winnings of £3,645. Full details of this weekend's Scoop6 dividends will feature on our Latest News page. A Scoop6 win requires players to line up six winning horses in six races on a Saturday afternoon - most punters play a single £2 line and realise just how tough it is to get through the first leg. But our syndicate rarely relies on just one selection in any race and places multiple lines and we have on occasion hundreds of different lines covering lots of the horses running in numerous combinations. This enhances our chances of winning and we landed the Scoop6 before Christmas with a bet costing £972 and covering 486 different lines. We also managed to back nearly one in four of the horses running in the six races on that day, so helping us land the win as we were not reliant on any single horse winning a particular race. The aim of the club is to have some fun on a Saturday and to win the Scoop6 - something we have succeeded in but we won't be resting on our laurels and plan to do the same again. And remember to tell all your friends and family and even a few strangers down the pub that just six days before Christmas you won a share of more than half a million quid as the more members we get the more often we will win, just like the bigger syndicates do, and remember you are not limited to just one membership. Regular punters would be hard pressed to beat the ex-ironing lady when it comes to racehorses. Her fortune for just £2 was one of many times Mrs Haddock battered the bookies down the years and she's now living like royalty on her winnings. Aggie says a big well done to her pal Peter Scudamore - who gives a regular tip The Scud Missile on the wonderful new website www.puntinplay.com - and he gave big race winner Michael Flips at 14-1 on the opening Saturday of Series 8 - the winner was backed in to 9-1. And Aggie's found a new friend in a nice young man called Ian Fennelly who has painted some fantastic watercolours - he's now working on a clutch of paintings of 2009 Grand National winner Mon Mome backed at 100-1 by some of Aggie's pals. To check out some of Ian's watercolours just log on to his site www.ianfennelly.co.uk and the Squirrel tells Aggie his winning horse paintings are simply superb, so members can check them out for themselves. Another chap Aggie's recently been associated with is Ross Marshall who set up a super business four years ago called www.YourGolfTravel.com and it's done wonders with golfing bargains left right and centre. To join Aggies Nags all you have to do is follow the simple register, login and purchase steps on this website and remember Series 9 starts on March 13th just four days ahead of the start of the Cheltenham Festival. The Aggies Nags Club perms will be available only to paid up members on the Saturday bet page. |
